Position Overview

This position is located at our distribution center in Tucker, GA. The Warehouse Manager oversees the location's warehouse and manages all activities related to the True Spice’s ecommerce fulfillment warehousing operations, ensuring that the company's objectives for efficiency, economy, quality and productivity are met or exceeded.

Responsibilities

Safety:

• Prioritize and ensure the safety of all crew members and inventory goods
• Examine and maintain proper warehouse equipment service and safety
• Investigate and report all on-the-job accidents and injuries in a thorough and timely manner. Comply with the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP)
• Maintain high standards of organization, hygiene and cleanliness at warehouse
• Safeguard warehouse operations by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols

People:

• Responsible for recruitment, training, and management of all direct reports
• WMS System training of spanish speaking employees is required.
• Directly responsible for scheduling labor to forecasts and having plans to manage to daily volume fluctuations
• Cooperate and work alongside crew members; perform other duties as needed
• Demonstrate strong leadership and promote a productive, team environment
• Handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality and assist with other HR and recordkeeping duties

Operations:

• Direct day-to-day warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, distribution, inventory control and maintenance operations
• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures
• Confirm all warehouse operations are in compliance with company’s policies, current laws and regulations
• Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services and goods provided
• Utilize the warehouse management system (WMS) with in-depth understanding

Analytics:

• Manage stock control and reconcile with warehouse management system (WMS)
• Calculate and setup physical space and layout for maximum efficiency
• Produce reports and statistics regularly (i.e., IN/OUT status, daily VCPO, inventory discrepancy reports…)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) including Safety Metrics, OPH, UPH, Shrink etc.

Qualifications

• Fluency in both English and Spanish required
• 2+ years of warehouse management experience required
• Comfortable with technology; and can utilize Microsoft Word, and Excel
• WMS experience required, must be comfortable operating with multiple WMS Systems ideal candidates can demonstrate proficiency in learning and adapting to new systems. Experience working with any of these systems a plus (Shipbob, Shiphero, Shipstation, Extensiv)
• Experience working with lot controlled product (preferred)
• Ability to multitask and manage deadlines independently
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong attentiveness and accuracy to details
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• Forklift certified

Job Type: Full-time

Pay Rate: $80k - 100k per year DOE

Schedule:

This is a salaried position. Most days an 8 hour shift is sufficient but there are times when longer shifts are required. General work hours are 7:30 am to 4:30 PM with a one hour lunch break. Weekend shifts may be required from time to time depending on staffing and volumes
